The Homecoming assembly will be held on the football field this Friday at 1:30 with the parade following at 2:15.
Sports Picture Day is Wednesday, October 7th. Picture order forms will be given to your coaches to be passed out. Order forms are due on picture day. All questions should be directed to Wagner Portrait Group at www.WagnerPortraitGroup.com.Reminder: As we get closer to the holiday season there are two changes to our normal schedule. The weeks before Thanksgiving & Christmas we will be in attendance on Monday & Tuesday of those weeks. For those with jobs, be sure to notify your employer we have school on those days.

Each month, a variety of scholarship opportunities are available to our seniors. These are the scholarships that have a Fall deadline. Ms. Swanson can give students specific details as well as applications to each of these if they are interested. Websites have been provided if available for each scholarship.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)-Federal Student Aid, an office of the U.S. Department of Education, ensures that all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded or federally guaranteed financial assistance for education beyond high school. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov for more information. FAFSA forms are not allowed to be processed until after October 1st . But, you are able to complete the worksheet so that your information will be ready when you need it.
This would also be a good time to apply online for you Personal Identification Number (PIN). This allows you to sign your completed FAFSA Application online. Go to www.pin.ed.gov to apply for this.
Ranken Virtual Manufacturing Day - October 2nd which will include a live panel of Q&A at 9:00 a.m., a web page video links to their manufacturing partners, &

If you are interested in attending Missouri S&T in Rolla and meet the following criteria, please go to scholarships.mst.edu and apply for the Chancellor's Scholarship. Awardees receive up to $48,000 over four years. GPA: 3.75; ACT Superscore: 31; Apply to S&T by November 13 at apply.mst.edu. Application and essay must be received by December 1, 2020.
Hagan Scholarship - This is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns and rural areas graduate college debt-free.
Recipients must a). graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, or b). graduate from a remote rural school located in a county having more than 50,000 residents.
The scholarship provides up to $48,000 over four years to attend college. Recipients must enroll at an eligible four-year, not-for-profit college or university the first semester following high school graduation.

McCormick & Murphy Personal Injury Scholarship - This scholarship is available to all high school seniors and current college students who are planning on entering the law field. $500 (One-time award) Due April 30, 2021. Must be attending a 4-yr college/university or 2-yr community college for Fall 2021. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. https://www.mccormickmurphy.com/#scholarship
Southeast Missouri State University Department of Art and Design Scholarships - A document has been emailed to all seniors regarding various Art & Design scholarships available through Southeast MO State University.
SEMO Virtual Exploration Weeks - SEMO will be holding Virtual Exploration weeks for students who may be interested in attending next fall. Each week will include various 30 minute Zoom presentations. Weeks include: October 5-8 & October 26-29. Check your school email for more information.
