Board Members

Mr. Skip Vandelicht

Mr. Vandelicht announced his resignation from the school board last night April 13, 2026.  Interested applicants can send a letter of interest and a resume to Superintendent Brent Doolin, at 705 Lucky St. Fayette, MO 65248 or bdoolin@fayetteschool.org.

Applications to be considered for appointment to the board will be accepted until Monday April 27th at 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Wes Friebe

Mr. Aaron Bentley

Aaron is an elected Board Member and also Vice President whose current term will expire in 2026. Aaron is a Product Manager for FlaktGroup SEMCO. He and his wife Kerri have two daughters that attend Fayette schools. Aaron is a graduate of Fayette High School.

Ms. Lisa Shrum

Lisa is an elected board member whose term began in 2024. After teaching middle school math for 18 years, the last eight of which were in Fayette schools, she now works for Veterans United Home Loans as a loan coordinator. Lisa and her son Malakai live on a small farm right outside Fayette. Malakai is a recent graduate of Fayette High School, joining his mom as a proud FHS alum.

Mrs. Sarah Wies

Sarah is an elected board member whose current term will expire in 2026. Sarah is a case manager at University of Missouri Hospital. She is married to Blake Wies and they have three children. Although not a Fayette native, she loves residing in Howard County and being part of the community and is proud to send her children to Fayette schools.

Mrs. Shauna Young

Shauna Young has served as a board member since April 2017. Her current term expires in 2026. Shauna is a Certified Public Accountant employed at Missouri Cancer Associates in Columbia. She is married to Lee and they have two daughters. They reside in Fayette and both are former graduates of FHS.
