Illness and Attendance

It's inevitable that students are going to get sick.  Please observe the following guidelines for school attendance:

* The student has not had a temperature of 100 degrees or above for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications such as Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen.

* A note written by physician attesting to the student's noninfectiousness. 

*Follow the recommendation by your physician for when student should return to school.  Please bring a doctor's excuse for extended absences from school.

*For communicable illnesses such as Strep Throat, Pink Eye, Scabies, Impetigo, Staph Infection, etc., the student must have taken 24 hours of prescribed medication prior to returning to school.

*The student genuinely feels better.
