Hi! My name is Lauren Schekorra. This is my second year teaching at Daly Elementary.  I grew up in a suburb outside of St. Louis called Chesterfield.  I graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelors degree in elementary education.  I absolutely love teaching 3rd grade.  Teaching has been a passion of mine since a very young age.  I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher, but wasn't sure on the grade.  However, after a few years of college, I knew elementary education is where I wanted to be. My favorite subject to teach is reading.

I have been married to my husband, Chris since May 2013.  We have one dog named Penny. We are expecting a little boy at the end of April & we are so excited!  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, working out, reading and watching sports.  I'm a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas Jayhawks whereas my husband is a big fan of the Mizzou Tigers.
