    December 5, 2023

Congratulations to the students that placed in the Fayette Bicentennial Poster Contest that was held last Spring. 3rd place: Abigail Bonney, 2nd place: Kay Sullivan, 1st place: Amethyst Heberlein. Come see Mrs. Atterbury to find out how to collect your prize!

FFA Barnwarming Dance will be held on Saturday, December 9th in the Ag Building.

If you need a course change for the spring semester, stop by Mrs. Shepard’s office to get a Course Change Request Form. These forms will be due by Tuesday, December 19th, and it must be signed by both teachers and parents to be officially approved. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Shepard.

School will not be in session on Friday, December 8th, so students, staff and faculty can attend the 2023 Norm Stewart Classic where our Lady Falcons will compete against Helias Catholic High School of Jefferson City, MO at 10:00 am at Mizzou Arena.  All non-participants, including fans and parents, will need to park in Lots I, O, K, or M and enter at the front of Mizzou Arena by Norm Stewart’s statue. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 for a Day Pass (No Readmittance) and $5 for a student (with student id). Weekend passes can also be purchased for $20 online through our website at www.normstewart.org.

Scholar Bowl Team practices will be every Wednesday and Friday during 8th hour.

StuCo will be hosting a hat & gloves/toy drive this month, so be on the lookout for more information. Toys will be donated to the local Holiday House Program.

If you love to read, please make a list of books that you would like for the library. I will be ordering books really soon.

Dress Code: Many students are not abiding by the school dress code. Make sure that you have extra clothing available to change or we can provide something for you. Continuous dress code violations or defiance when asked to change will result in being sent to Mr. Dobson with a discipline referral. Mr. Dobson shared the dress code policy on the 1st day of school, so all students were informed.

Jostens graduation orders should now be done online at www.thegraduationcenter.com Extra packets and order forms are located at the office and the library.

Students interested in purchasing an FHS letterman jacket, forms are located at the office and in the library.

Addison Powell has a letterman jacket for sale for $200.00. Please see her for details.

Seniors: Please do not park in the four parking places nearest the building next to the football field or the parking place adjacent to the disabled spaces. These are reserved for the Parents as Teachers Play Center.

Students who have loaner Chromebooks from the Library need to return them ASAP. We will not be able to checkout loaners if they are not returned at the end of the hour/day of which you are using the computer. If you have already received your one-to-one personal Chromebook, make sure you bring those to school every day. The loaners are needed for students that have yet to receive their personal Chromebook. When you return your loaner Chromebooks, please make sure you place them back on the chargers.

THERE SHOULD BE NO LIVESTREAMING DURING SCHOOL. Cell phones are only to be used by teacher's permission. Violations of this rule will result in a discipline referral.
