Welcome to Clark Middle School!
Clark Middle School Mission Statement
Clark Middle School provides a safe, nurturing school community in which students become independent thinkers, take initiative and are prepared for a rigorous high school curriculum.
We are honored that you have taken time out of your day to learn more about our students, staff, curriculum and day-to-day operations. We are connected by two hallways to Daly Elementary. With this unique set-up, our students and staff have the privilege to collaborate with DES staff and students on a daily basis.
We are a 6th, 7th and 8th grade learning center that educates close to 130 students in the heart of Howard County. Our school day begins at 7:55 a.m. and runs until 3:12 p.m. On late start days, the day begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at the normal time of 3:12 p.m.
Our faculty is comprised of 5 content area specialists that includes Algebra, English Language Arts, Literature, Science and Social Studies. Our students enjoy electives such as Band, Technology, Careers, Fitness, Family and Consumer Sciences and Health.
Our Student Council and National Junior Honor Society clubs are active participants in our building. Students work on fundraising, community service and partnerships with Daly Elementary, as well as providing a sounding board for our CMS students. Our athletic programs range from basketball, cheerleading, football, softball and track. We have an active Science Olympiad team that travels during the second semester of the school year to various science competitions.
We take great pride in our school and student body! Thank you for visiting our page!
