In August, 2018, I started my 35th year of teaching in Missouri schools.   As a Fayette native, I graduated from Fayette High School and Central Methodist College. I started my teaching career in Paris, Missouri. I taught in Paris for two years, then spent the next four years teaching in Cairo, Missouri.  My next stop was St. Joseph Catholic School in Salisbury, where I taught for fourteen years. After that, I accepted a position in Marceline and taught there for seven years.

It was my desire to return to Fayette to live and teach. In 2011, I started my job at Daly Elementary and moved back to Fayette the following year.  I am passionate about sharing my love of reading with students and helping struggling readers transition into life-long readers, so teaching Title Reading is the perfect job for me!  I am happy to be a part of the Fayette community again!
