Tom Oakley - Technology Liaison
The students of Fayette R-III School District benefit from an array of technology choices. The district has approximately 350 desktop computers in classrooms, labs, and media centers. There are approximately 115 iPads that are being utilized throughout the district, mostly in grades K-8. Laptops in mobile labs are being utilized across the district.
We recently improved wireless connectivity throughout the district. New fiber, switches, and access points were installed to support 10gb speeds with the goal of achieving 1:1.
Each classroom in the district is equipped with an active board. The high school utilizes SmartBoards that were installed in the fall of 2012. Most Daly and Clark classrooms have Promethean Boards. There are a few SmartBoards that are used as well.
Quality Network Solutions provide technology support for the district.
