Stacie Beaman
Hello! I would like to welcome you to my first grade page! My name is Stacie Beaman and this is my 8th year of teaching here at Daly Elementary School. I grew up here in Fayette and attended the schools here in our district. I then went on to attend college at the University of Central Missouri and then transferred to Central Methodist University to finish out my degree in Elementary Education. I did some additional coursework to earn my degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2000 I accepted a position to teach a combined K-1 classroom with the Gilliam C-4 school district. I taught there for 10 years before accepting a position here at Daly Elementary. I obtained my degree in Special Education and taught in a K-2 special services classroom for a year. A first grade position came available and I was able to move back to teaching first grade. In 2012 I graduated from Columbia College with a Masters Degree in Education and a K-12 Special Reading degree.
My passion is teaching first grade. I love the fun and enthusiasm that they bring to each day. They love to learn and they get excited about exploring the world around them. I work hard to provide them a solid foundation in their first grade subject areas so they can be successful students as they make their way through the grade levels.
I have alot of things that I enjoy outside of my job as a teacher. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. We enjoy doing various activities and making memories together. We like to spend time fishing on weekends and spending time outdoors. During the summer I enjoy spending time in my garden and going to the ballfield to watch the St. Louis Cardinals.
