Prior to enrollment, students must have completed their childhood immunization series including Dtap (Diptheria, Tetanus, Acellular Pertusis), Polio, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox). Evidence of immunizations must be submitted to the School Health Office.
All incoming 8th Grade students are required to receive the Menigitis Vacciine and Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Acellular Pertussis) vaccine. Please immunize your child prior to the start of the school year.
Seniors are required to receive the Meningitis vaccine. If your child received a dose prior to the age of 16 they will need to have another Meningitis vaccine. If your child was older than the age of 16 when they received the Meningitis shot they are not required to get another one. Please immunize your child prior to the start of the school year.
Immunizations are available at your local physicians office or the Howard County Public Health Department (248-3100). Call prior for an appointment.
