Welcome to Daly Elementary!  I am Melissa Duren and I teach K-2 special education.

I grew up in the Bootheel of Missouri where I graduated from New Madrid County Central High School.  After graduating, I came to Fayette to attend college at Central Methodist University.  After college, I married Mr. Duren, who also teaches special education in the elementary.  Mr. Duren and I are classroom neighbors in the Daly Elementary hallway.  We have two young Falcons of our own!  Spencer is attending college at Missouri State Technical College and Maddi is a senior at Fayette High School. I enjoy singing and playing the piano.  

I have been teaching special education in the Fayette School District since 2013.  Each day is a new adventure.  In our classroom, my students and I have a great time learning something new each and every day.
